Green Bone Creek
A small Peachtree Creek tributary draining the valley between Arden, Dover, Howell Mill and Moore's Mill roads. The first Union crossing of Peachtree Creek was made at its mouth on July 19, 1864.
The record
Marker 060-54 says the creek rises near Paces Ferry Road. Dilworth's brigade of Davis's division, supported by a brigade of Baird's division, crossed at the mouth of Green Bone Creek while the rest of Baird's division crossed upstream at Howell's Mills; marker 060-53 adds that a third brigade supported the crossing from beyond Nancy's Creek.
Today: Small creek through Buckhead's Arden Road area to Peachtree Creek.
