The record

Marker 044-13 records that Hascall's division of Schofield's XXIII Corps, marching from Isom's Ferry toward Decatur, camped at Johnston's mill on the night of July 18, 1864. Wikipedia's mill list places the site on Briarwood Road between Buford Highway and I-85. A USGS gauge sits at the Briarwood Road crossing of the North Fork.
