Yellow River
The Ocmulgee headwater that runs along DeKalb's eastern edge from Gwinnett toward Jackson Lake. Wikipedia says the English name translates its Muscogee name.
The record
Wikipedia gives the Creek name as Coc-la-pauchee or Welauneehatchee and says 'Yellow River' preserves it; the river is 76 miles long and joins the South River in Jackson Lake. In the map area it receives Stone Mountain Creek (USGS NHD) and No Business Creek, which flows into Norris Lake (Krakow). Its record at the GA 124 gauge is the September 22, 2009 flood, 16,500 cfs.
