The record

The Leyden house (built 1858–59) stood at 124 Peachtree St, between Cain St (now Andrew Young International Blvd) and Ellis St. It was demolished in 1913. Thomas used it as headquarters after the city fell, and a photograph at the Atlanta History Center shows Federal troops at the house. The site is now downtown commercial buildings.
