The record

Wikipedia places the spring along the northeast side of Walton Street from the northwest corner of Spring Street (now Ted Turner Drive) almost to Cain Street (now Andrew Young International Boulevard); Walton sat on Atlanta's first city council. GPB's 'What's in a Name?' says Tanyard Creek began at Walton Spring and flowed north through what is now Georgia Tech to Peachtree Creek. When the spring was capped was not found.

Today: A small city park, Walton Spring Park, at Spring Street and International Boulevard.
