The record

The DeKalb History Center says John Biffle built his cabin between 1825 and 1840 on a knoll above Barbashela Creek in the Stone Mountain area. It was moved to the complex in 1977. George and Martha Thomas built the second cabin in the 1830s on the Decatur-McDonough Road, now Browns Mill-Salem Road. It was moved here in 1983 and joins the Swanton House as one of the complex's three antebellum buildings.

Today: Adair Park complex, Decatur.
