The record

Wikipedia describes Grant as Atlanta's quintessential railroad man and says the Atlanta Preservation Center bought the house in 2001, moved its headquarters there in 2002 and has spent more than $1 million restoring it. Grant later designed the city's Civil War fortifications (GHS Fort Walker marker) and gave the land for Grant Park in 1883 (GHS). The house stands on St. Paul Avenue between Broyles and Grant streets (Wikipedia).
